According to the information released by the Indian Workers’ Union (Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, BMS), the BMS hosted 15th BRICS Trade Union Forum will be held on 14-16 July 2026 in Hyderabad (India). The organisers intend to place four broad topics on the agenda around which the discussions are to be held and common positions developed:
- "Universalization of Social Security and International Portability";
- "Human-centric technology and responsible governance of AI in the workplace";
- "Role of trade union in driving skill development agenda to address skills shortages and surpluses";
- "Women and the Future of Work".
The BRICS Trade Union Forum unites national trade union centres from Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Egypt, Ethiopia, Indonesia and Iran. The Forum is held annually, as a rule in parallel with the BRICS Labour and Employment Ministers’ meeting.
The 14th BRICS Union Forum was held in April 2025 in Brazil.
