On March 27 the UGT-Brazil International Relations Secretariat had a meeting on sending its delegation to China to take part in BRICS Trade Union Forum.
The team invested time on planning an immersion of representatives of all the International Secretariats of all the Brazilian Trade Union Federations, who will gather at 10 a.m. on May 10 at the UGT headquarter in São Paulo, to organize the participation of the Brazilian trade union movement in BRICS Trade Union Forum. Its agenda will include Provisional Rules of BRICS Trade Union Forum (the document sent by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions (ACFTU) and the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia (FNPR); some issues related to the selection of Brazilian delegation and topics for discussion at the next meeting of the Forum.
The meeting was attended by Lourenço Prado, International Secretary, Wagner Souza, Assistant Secretary, Professor Anselmo, Adviser, and Mirella Mendes, Assistant.

Delegates of national trade union centres from all BRICS countries were given an opportunity to express their views on the issues on LEMM agenda and to engage in open exchange with the ministers and employer representatives.
Representatives of national trade union centres from Brazil, Russia, China and South Africa discussed topical issues of cooperation within BRICS during the international trade union workshop held on November 14-15, 2016 in Johannesburg (South Africa).
