The name of the Worker's House goes back to before the victory of the revolution of the Islamic Republic in 1346 (1967-68). At that time, a group of labor unions from all over the country started their activities in the form of a union in Tehran. But after the revolution, in 1358 (1979-1980), the labor branch of the Islamic Republic Party, which before the revolution organized labor strikes against the imperial regime of Iran, took over the management of the Workers' House.

The administration of this organization is done through Congress and elections that are held every four years.

Ali Reza Mahjoub is the General Secretary of the Worker's House
