The XIIth BRICS Trade Union Forum will be held in Durban (South Africa) on September 26-27, 2023. This is stated in an official invitation on behalf of the Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU), the Federation of Unions of South African (FEDUSA), the National Council of Trade Unions (NACTU) and the South African Federation of Trade Unions (SAFTU) sent to the national trade union centres participating in the BRICS Trade Union Forum. South African trade unions have identified the theme for the next plenary session as "BRICS trade union cooperation for fair, inclusive and sustainable economic growth and shared benefit for all".
Delegates from Brazil, Russia, India, China and the Republic of South Africa are expected to attend the Forum.
